International renowned artists to perform
in the 2013 Edition.
September 25th - 29th 2013
Now in its ninth season, the Sackville Festival of Early Music presents musicians of international renown performing the splendid music of the Renaissance and Baroque era.
In this year’s opening concert, Sari Tsuji, violin, and Jonathan Addleman, harpsichord, present music inspired by bird song. Tsuji and Addleman will also be conducting interactive workshops in local schools. The festival will feature the acclaimed soprano Suzie LeBlanc and harpsichordist Alexander Weimann in The Wedding Day; baroque trombone ensemble ¡Saccabuche! in Venetia 1500; and extraordinary period choral music by the Louisbourg Choir and Festival Orchestra.
